Theocentric Books

Theocentric is a very good word to use in the public arena.  It will help people get acquainted with a word that is unfamiliar to many people.  Webster’s Encyclopedic Dictionary defines theocentric: “Have God as the focal point of thoughts, interests, and feelings.”  Based on polls and various other studies, there are 250 million professing Christians in the United States.  However, in the public square only a small percentage of those professing Christians understand the meaning of words essential to the Christian religion. Theocentric is one of those words.

When I determined to undertake the role of publishing Christian books, the name of the company did not come easy.  I searched the internet and found names of Christian publishing companies with a wide range of Christian tags.  However, theocentric was not one of them.  Theocentric Publishing Group was born.

Several people asked me why I used such a hard name to pronounce.   It is really an easy word to pronounce and remember.  God is the center of the action.  Theocentric Publishing Group has God at the center of the enterprise of producing God-centered books.  Visit http://www.theocentricpublishing.com today.

  1. Martin Murphy and Theocentric Publications have published my last two books: ” Experiencing Spiritual Encouragement” which is a compilation of articles originally published in THE DOTHAN EAGLE. Each story is uplifting and deals with real life issues. These articles have been copied, mailed to others and according to the mail and emails I have received have met people at the place of their need just like God planned it to be. My second book: “Digging For Treasure in the Dark” is all about real people facing the toughest issues in life in the darkest moments possible and finding great treasure in God and His word during those times. Some of the stories include: an incest survivor; a young woman left to be raised by an indigent mother with about a 7 year old’s I.Q.; a woman forced to get married when she was only 13: a young adopted boy who was severely mistreated, a man wrongfully imprisoned, a woman whose family came to Christ after the death of their 5 month old child and many more stories of the victory that can only be found in Christ. I definitely would recommend Theocentric Publications if you are writing a book that deals with any spiritual issues. Ann Varnum
